Marshall Brown

An Atlanta native, Marshall began playing tennis at age six and competed through all junior age groups. He was #1 in singles and doubles in the boy’s 18’s for the state of Georgia. Marshall received a tennis scholarship to Tennessee State University where he was a four-time All-Conference player. After graduating with a degree in Exercise Science, he played on the ATP tour. He has taught at the IFPA Tennis Academy in Tampa and the Olympic Tennis Center in Atlanta. When not playing or teaching tennis, he enjoys reading, exercising, sports and travel.

Aldrin Dinya

Aldrin Dinya has represented his country of Kenya in the Davis Cup. As a certified International Tennis Federation Level 2 coach and four years as ITF’s traveling coach, he has coached internationally ranked juniors at the Grand Slams and ITF tournaments to much success. Before coming to America, Aldrin worked 8 years for the ITF Africa Training Centre and was also the Head Coach for the Kenya team.

Eusebie Oprea

Eusebie was born in Bucuresti, Romania and started tennis at age eight. It wasn’t long before his talent and zest for the game began paying off, gaining him top 10 rankings in juniors and men in Romania. Coming to America, Eusebie studied at Texas A & M University in Corpus Christi, earning a degree in Physical Education and playing singles and doubles on the Aggie’s tennis team. He taught and coached for three summers at the Tokeneke Country Club in Darien. A huge football (soccer) fan, his favorite team is Inter Milan.

Faycal Rhazali

Born in Morocco, Faycal won the Junior Nationals at age 18 and also played professionally in Satellites and Challengers in Morocco, Egypt, France, Spain and Senegal. He came to America on a tennis scholarship to Radford University in Virginia, earning a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He gained All-Conference tennis honors and was a two-time Most Valuable Player at Radford. A USA High Performance Coach and USPTR Certified, Faycal won the men’s singles and doubles titles in 2005 at the 79th Public Parks National Championships. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Lissette, and their daughter, Sophia.

Charl van der Merwe

As a junior player, this native of South Africa was captain of his South African province team. Prior to coming to the U.S., Charl worked with many top 10 junior players in both South Africa and New Zealand. He has also represented one of New Zealand’s provinces at the senior national tournament in 2005. In this country, Charl has held teaching/coaching positions at the Julien Krinsky School of Tennis in Philadelphia, the Beaverbrook Tennis Club in Danbury, Connecticut, the Tokeneke Country Club in Darien and the Country Club of Darien.

Kevin van Rensburg

A native of South Africa, Kevin was the #1 inter-collegiate player and captained the Free State Provincial team during the South African Provincial Championships from 1995 to 2000. He was also a teaching professional at several area clubs and part of the management team during the Federation Cup ties between South Africa and Bulgaria in 1995 and with Belgium in 1996. For three summers, he directed the Junior Sports Camp at Kings Highway Tennis Club and also spent a summer as Tennis Director at Rock Ridge Country Club. When not on the court, he enjoys computers, electronics and woodworking.

Philippe Salvat

Born in Montreal, Canada, Philippe started playing tennis at age three. To become a professional tennis player, he moved to South Florida and trained full-time with the best juniors in the world. For a short time, he played Nationals in Canada, the Junior Tour (ITF) and ATP Tour tournaments. Due to injuries, he decided to coach some friends from the ATP Tour who were ranked as high as 500. He found coaching so enjoyable that he gained his USPTR Certification and started working full-time in tennis clubs where he taught all ages and all levels. He has been a coach/instructor for the past seven years and a Program Director in Weston, Florida for the past three years.
